In Pittsburgh, it’s not unusual to see sport fans pack the strip club to celebrate their team’s win, or loss. For the diehard fan, losing is stressful and many fans need a place to let loose after the tense pressures of watching their team lose. So why are strip clubs the place to go after a game? Because win or lose, it’s entertaining. At Rick’s Cabaret in Pittsburgh, we see a lot of local NFL Steeler fans stumble in after what seems to be an all too common theme, coming 1st or 2nd place in our division but losing the divisional playoffs or Conference Championship game. We are still hopeful that maybe next year we will get to the Superbowl. Wishful thinking, right? But you never know, so instead of dwelling on it, fans just find themselves at their local strip club for the atmosphere and the offerings... sexy ladies shaking their booties, performing pole tricks, the delicious food and music that just adds to the fun. It also helps that many strip clubs, like Rick’s, are minutes away from Heinz Field Stadium. So perhaps the reason why so many fans visit strip clubs after a big game is simply because they’re just minutes up the road.

They know they’ll be flocking to the strip club so they want to plan the “After Party” after the game. Pittsburgh Riverhound fans have told us they love the music and the wings. It’s a disbelief sometimes that people chose to go to strip clubs because they love the food! They’re even more surprised that strip clubs now a days have good food. The clubs have evolved in recent years not only to have sexy nude or topless entertainment, but include other forms of entertainment and choices to make the strip club experience that much more memorable. Many clubs show UFC fights, major boxing events so fans can enjoy the games at the strip club, if they cant actually be at the games.
Even our customers whose children play sports, you know the local little leaguers and soccer moms, admit planning a night out at the local gentlemen’s club after the kiddos go to bed.
